BGMC Announces Video Contest Winners

For years, children's leaders across America have been producing fun and exciting BGMC (Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge) videos. According to BGMC National Director David Boyd, this year the national BGMC department decided to encourage leaders to produce even more videos and then award the "best of the best" through a BGMC Video Contest.

"Videos are a great way into a child's world and into their hearts," Boyd says. "They also inspire children's leaders to show their passion for missions when they see others doing the same."

The top three videos were award prizes of $1,000, $500, and $400 respectively. The BGMC Department also recognized four winners in a "historic" (produced before 2015) category, awarding $250 for the videos: What Does the Buddy Say?,  Buddy's Back,  BGMC "YMCA" Paraody,  and Shake Yer Buddy Barrel.

"This year's top video is a mission song," Boyd says. "We expect to see kids all over the nation singing this new Buddy Song!" Boyd adds that if enough interest is expressed by leaders (at BGMC.ag.org) in producing new BGMC videos, they'll hold the contest again in 2016.

Following are the 2015 winning submissions and words links to the corresponding videos.
