2017 Influence Conference -- Best Yet?
With names such as Mark Batterson, Priscilla Shirer, Rick Warren, Rob Ketterling, Samuel Rodriguez, and Dick Foth headlining, there is little doubt that the 2017 Influence Conference will be one of the best, if not the best, edition of the event ever presented. A spiritually refreshing offering, the Influence Conference has become a highly regarded and anticipated mainstay that launches attendees into the General Council week.
The 2017 Influence Conference, to be held Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 7 and 8, in Anaheim, California, will, for the first time, include and begin with a series of breakout sessions on Monday afternoon. After a meal break, the conference will continue with the evening’s speakers, Shirer, Rodriguez, and Foth. Tuesday morning, the conference concludes with Kettering, Batterson, and Warren speaking.
“What an incredible way to begin General Council!” states George O. Wood, AG general superintendent. “Each of these speakers are noted servants of God and alone draw thousands; what an awesome opportunity to hear each of them share what God has laid upon their hearts for us.”
The conference breakout sessions on Monday will offer three blocks of nine topics for a total of 27 sessions to choose from. Sessions will cover issues such as church growth, church health, and leadership development.
“The breakout sessions are a significant addition to the Influence Conference,” says John Jay Wilson of the Church Multiplication Network and Influence Conference organizer. “What’s more, the conference and breakout sessions are all included with your $50 registration fee for the 2017 General Council.”
