Convoy of Hope Prepares for Hurricane Florence

Convoy of Hope’s goal in responding to Hurricane Florence is to give people help and hope in times of great need. Teams in the field will distribute relief supplies to storm survivors, coordinate volunteers and assist in cleanup efforts. Convoy of Hope will be working closely with local, state and federal officials in this response.
“This month is National Preparedness Month. Our team has been watching and preparing to respond to Hurricane Florence,” says Convoy of Hope National Spokesperson Jeff Nene. “We stand ready to help those affected by this powerful storm.”
Convoy of Hope has responded to more than 360 international and domestic disasters to date, delivering more than 516 tractor-trailer loads of relief supplies in 2017 alone. Millions of survivors have been helped thanks to the local churches, businesses, government agencies and other nonprofits, donors, and volunteers who make Convoy of Hope’s work possible.
