Generous Gift Assists in Evangelizing Unreached Around the World

Recently Don Headlee, executive vice president of AG Financial Solutions, met with Greg Mundis, executive director of Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM), to deliver a special surprise — $783,928.89 for missions.

“I was ecstatic and so encouraged,” said Mundis. “Of the total, $400,000 was designated for our Unreached Peoples Fund. A primary focus of our work continues to be reaching those who have never heard about Jesus.” He continued, “This is the heartbeat of God, and these funds are crucial to the need.”

Making inroads into unreached people groups is just one of the many immense tasks AGWM missionaries face on a daily basis, often with few resources. “It’s difficult to have God place something on your heart but not have the funding to make it happen,” said Mundis. “For us, it’s an exercise in patience and faith in God’s provision. Today I got to witness that provision, and it’s going to increase the faith of the missionaries who will use it.”

AGWM remains a leading recipient of funds distributed through AG Foundation, receiving almost $30 million over the last 10 years from planned gifts such as Donor Advised Funds, Charitable Gift Annuities, and Charitable Remainder Trusts.
