Northwest University Launches New Ph.D. Program in Organizational Leadership

Classes for the new Ph.D. and Ed.D. degrees in Organizational Leadership through Northwest University begin in January 2018.

Northwest University (NU) in Kirkland, Washington, is launching new Ph.D. and Ed.D. degrees in Organizational Leadership through its Center for Leadership Studies. Classes begin in January of 2018.

NU’s new doctoral programs are designed for working professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds who want to expand their influence in their current practice or transition to academic or consulting roles.

Both the Ph.D. and Ed.D. tracks offer a rich educational experience, including: small, diverse cohort-based classes; inter-disciplinary instruction drawing from a variety of fields; integration of faith with learning and practice; concentrations in Leading Christian Organizations, Business Leadership and Consulting, and Higher Education; hybrid delivery combining the best of the classroom with the online experience; and more.

Dr. Earl Creps directs the Center for Leadership Studies and its two doctoral degree programs. “Our graduates will be writing the books others are reading,” says Creps, “and guiding the organizations others are copying, not by avoiding their faith, but by living it.”

The Ph.D. and Ed.D. programs are designed to prepare students for strategic influence, shaping “scholar/practitioners” from a Christian perspective.
