Easter at Home and Infinitely More

What is your Easter Sunday service going to be like this year? Good or bad, it will be an Easter few ever forget. The Assemblies of God wants to join in supporting ministers by providing complimentary resources they can use to have a positive and powerful Easter service — for adults and children — as well as provide a Spirit-inspired sermon series that spans Easter through Pentecost Sunday.

The new Easter at Home materials and Infinitely More sermon series are available to download for free on the AG COVID-19 site under the Church Leadership category.

Easter at Home begins with a special video message of encouragement to ministers from the heart of Assistant General Superintendent Rick DuBose. DuBose has also crafted an Easter sermon outline, that is fully editable, to allow ministers to personalize the sermon, adding in their own experiences and observations, before recording or speaking live to their online congregations.

In addition, Easter at Home provides a family devotional video that shares about God’s provision for individuals, physically and spiritually, as well as discussion questions for families to walk through.

Children are not left out with Easter at Home as it provides a themed countdown video, an interactive memory verse game, a lesson with Chuck the Duck, a Bible lesson video (“God restores relationships”), and graphics to help promote Easter at Home.

However, Easter at Home is only the beginning as the Infinitely More sermon series, based on Ephesians 3:20, is designed to help pastors lead their congregation in a seven-week journey to Pentecost Sunday.

Offering seven sermon manuscripts, Infinitely More opens the door to the life of Jesus, His teachings, His miracles, and His declarations to help people discover God’s plan for them to live a Spirit-filled life and experience “infinitely more than we might ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20, NLT).

Each sermon comes with social media posts, sermon slide graphics, bulletins, bumper videos, and other resources to assist in promoting and personalizing the presentation.

“We know this is a very difficult time for so many ministers, but we want you to know that we love and care deeply about each of you,” DuBose says. “Know that we are in this together, standing together, praying together.”
