North Carolina District Superintendent Rick Ross has been selected as general treasurer by unanimous vote of the Executive Presbytery.
Rick Ross has been named as the new general treasurer for The General Council of the Assemblies of God by a unanimous vote of the Executive Presbytery.

Ross has served as the Southeast Area executive presbyter, part of the 21-member AG executive board, for nearly five years. He has served as the district superintendent of North Carolina, including over 250 churches and nearly 800 ministers, since 2016.

As an executive presbyter, Ross has served on the Budget Management Team, the board for Evangel University, and the AG Looking Forward committee.

Prior to this, he served for 13 years as lead pastor of Concord First Assembly, a thriving church of 4,000 people with eight satellite campuses. Ross also held pastorates in Ohio and Washington.

Ross has served as the chairman of Convoy of Hope’s National Pastors Commission. Additionally, he serves as treasurer of the Priority One missions board.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Central Bible College, a master’s degree from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, and Doctor of Ministry from Bakke University.

General Superintendent Doug Clay says, “Rick will bring mature experience and fervent spirituality to our leadership team.”

Ross will fill the unexpired term of Wilfredo “Choco” De Jesús, following his appointment as executive director of AG U.S. Missions.

Rick Ross is married to Susan Hastie Ross and they have two children — Derrick and wife Dana, and Karissa and husband Seth — and six grandchildren.
