Anticipation continues to build for the 59th General Council and the annual National Youth Convention being held simultaneously at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando Aug. 2-6. Assemblies of God adherents unable to attend the event can still experience all the services and sessions online.

All the General Council business sessions and evening services will be livestreamed at GeneralCouncil.org during the week. A full backstage experience will begin 30 minutes prior to each service in English and Spanish. The livestreaming will also include the general sessions from the Influence Conference as well as the National Youth Convention. Archived videos will be posted as they become available.

“We hope this will allow more people throughout the nation to follow the events and services of General Council,” says Mark Forrester, director of communications for the AG national office.

The opening service of the General Council begins at 6:30 p.m. (EDT), Wednesday, Aug. 4, with the first Influence Conference general session starting things off at 2 p.m. (EDT) on Tuesday, Aug. 3. Evening services for the National Youth Convention begin at 6:30 p.m. (EDT) Monday, Aug. 2. Visit the General Council website for a complete schedule and time listings (in EDT) of sessions and services.
