Empowered21 Concludes Jerusalem Global Congress

Following five days of services, ministry, and prayer, the Empowered21 Global Congress in Jerusalem was deemed "a remarkable week" by AG General Superintendent George O. Wood.

Following a day of prayer in The Pavilion at King of Kings Community Church where thousands sought a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the Empowered21 Global Congress being held in Jerusalem concluded with a powerful service of worship, praise, impartation, and honoring on Sunday evening, May 24. The gathering of more than 4,500 delegates from more than 70 countries took place at the Jerusalem Pais Arena where the Congress began on Wednesday, May 20.

"It was a remarkable week," said Dr. George O. Wood, co-chair of Empowered21 and general superintendent of the U.S. Assemblies of God. "The messages were powerful, the anointing of the Holy Spirit was evident, and the experiences were unforgettable. A highlight for about 500 people was their baptism in the Jordan River."

Wilson announced that the next regional meetings of Empowered21 will be held in London next year and Asia in 2017. Subsequent meetings were announced for Africa in 2018 and Latin America for 2019.
