Statement from the Assemblies of God of France
EDITOR'S NOTE: The following statement was translated from an official communiqué from the Assemblies of God of France. Please join our French brothers and sisters in prayer during this time of tragedy.
Terrorists have once again used violence to strike. We, together with the entire French nation, are overwhelmed.
Weeping and tears are everywhere for the lives that have been shattered.
Nothing will ever be the same for those who were left behind.
The Assemblies of God of France strongly denounces all of the acts whose sole objective is to sow terror and to impede freedom of conscience and of speech, which are our rights.
These acts of violence are the product of a small minority who do not wish to dialogue with anyone but themselves concerning matters of religion and faith.
We would like to take this opportunity to present our deepest condolences to the families who are going though this heartbreaking trial, and want to assure them that our prayers and our compassion are with them.
We humbly ask that every believer would remember to pray for the city of Paris and for our nation of France.
